Silhouettes

1. A silhouette photo stand out because of the combination of their simplicity but also the story that they convey.

2. The strategy for taking a silhouette photo is to place your subject in front of some source of light and to force your camera to set its exposure based upon the brightest part of your picture and not the subject of your image.

3. To "get your light right" is to place your subject in front of a sunset or sunrise.

4.Your light source should be shining from the background than the foreground of your shot.

5. The background of a silhouette should be a bright cloudless sky with the sun setting because the front will be a nice and plain, but have a bright background.

6. A profile is the features of someone like their nose, mouth, eyes etc. This makes a better silhouette picture because they are more likely to be recognized.

5 More Elements of Composition in Photography

1. Framing help show the main idea of the picture by highlighting the main point of interest and/or put it in the context to give the image "depth".

2. Perspective is a technique of portraying volumes and relationship on a flat surface. In a picture perspective emphasized different points of interest, angles, textures, shapes etc.

3. Space can be use in a picture to capture a subject in its context. It also helps create a sense of intimacy and a more personal connection.

4. Balance in a photograph is not only just symmetry but having a secondary point of interest counter balancing the main focal point of an image.

5. The bad points in using color in a photograph is that if it is place in the wrong position they can distract viewers of an image away from focal points, however on the other hand colors can play a positive role in a photo by giving off mood and feelings to the audience.

1. In this image is showing a scenario of two different timeline. I say this because the one with the color is showing a modern day scheme, and on the other hand, the black & white picture showing something from the old age.

2. Black, White, Yellow, Blue, Purple, Orange, Purple & Grey.
Shapes: Cylinder, Rectangle, Circle, & Square.

3. Reminisce, Ancient, Modern, Extinct and Flashback.

4. This picture put me in the mood of reminiscing because people are happy at this place in this generation but they never stop to think what happen here in the past years.

5. I think this image means that the modern day building was a very symbolic place back then where something very monumental happen.

6. This picture contains the Rule of Composition because it have a clear point of interest.
